Illinois junior guard Rayvonte Rice was named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on Monday for his performance in the Fighting Illini's win over UI at the United Center on Saturday. Rice poured in a season-high 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds to earn his second conference player of the week honor this season. He shared honors this week with Michigan State's Keith Appling.
