    Illinois leads the all-time series 26-12 over Missouri, including a 19-8 advantage in the Busch Braggin' Rights series at St. Louis. The Illini carry an eight-game winning streak over the Tigers into Tuesday night's 28th annual Braggin' Rights game. During that streak the the Illini have posted victories of 86-81 in overtime in 2000, 72-61 in 2001, 85-70 in 2002, 71-70 in 2003, 70-64 in 2004, 82-50 in 2005, 73-70 in 2006, and 59-58 last season.

    Illinois owns a 19-8 advantage over Missouri in Braggin' Rights games played in St. Louis ... Illinois won eight consecutive games from 1983-90 and won nine of the first 10 games played in St. Louis ... After Missouri won seven of nine games from 1991-99, Illinois has won the last eight games (2000-07), equaling the Illini's longest winning streak in the history of the series ... Bruce Weber is undefeated in the Braggin' Rights, owning a 5-0 record. Weber's lone loss to Mizzou came in the first round of the 2003 NCAA Tournament when he was at Southern Illinois ... Illinois and Missouri are a combined 19-2 on the season, the best combined record entering the Braggin' Rights in six years, since both teams were undefeated heading into the 2002 match-up (7-0 Illinois went on to defeat 6-0 Missouri that year by the score of 85-70) ... Tuesday's meeting marks just the seventh time in 28 years of the series that neither team is ranked in the Top 25. Both teams, however, are receiving votes in the latest polls.

    Last Time Out: Detroit
    Illinois returned to action on Saturday night following a 9-day break for semester exams and defeated Detroit by the score of 82-51. The Illini shot a sizzling 64.4 percent from the floor (29-45), the highest field goal percentage of the Weber era, and nailed 11-of-18 from 3-point range (61.1 percent).

    Twelve Illini players entered the scoring column on the night led by Mike Tisdale and Trent Meacham, who scored 15 each, and Calvin Brock, who added a season-high 12 points.

    Legion Makes Illini Debut
    After sitting out the majority of last season and the first 10 games of this season per NCAA transfer rules, sophomore Alex Legion made his Illini debut on Saturday night vs. Detroit. Legion entered the game with 12:57 remaining in the first half and made his first field goal attempt -- a 3-pointer -- 29 seconds later. Legion finished with six points, two rebounds and one steal in 18 minutes.
