McCamey Nears Another Exclusive Club
Demetri McCamey enters Saturday's match-up with UIC approaching another milestone. He is six points shy of reaching 1,400 for his career. When he attains that number, McCamey will become just the second player in school history and sixth in Big Ten history to record at least 1,400 career points and 600 career assists. Here is a look at the Big Ten players who have accomplished that feat:

Name, SCHOOL (Years) Career Points Career Assists

Neutral-Site Turnaround
Illinois struggled at neutral sites last year, posting a 1-6 record. This year's team has already exceeded its win total from last season on neutral courts with two victories (Maryland, Gonzaga) in three games. The Illini wrap up non-conference play with a pair of neutral site games against UIC on Saturday at the United Center, followed by Missouri next Tuesday at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

70-Point Streak
Illinois has scored at least 70 points in all 11 games this year, the longest streak by the program since reaching the 70-point mark the first 12 games of the 2004-05 season.

When counting the final four games of last season, the Illini currently have a 15-game streak of consecutive 70-point outings. That is the longest streak under Bruce Weber and the most by the Illini since Lou Henson's teams tallied 23 consecutive 70-point games spanning the final eight games of 1989 and first 15 games of the 1990 season.

Three-Point Attack
Illinois has been proficient from 3-point range this season. The Illini are averaging 7.7 three-pointers per game, the highest average since the 2004-05 team set a school record by averaging 8.8 threes per contest. Illinois is shooting 42.1 percent from behind the arc, its best effort since shooting 42.5 percent during the 1988-89 season.

Tisdale Scores 1,000; Davis Nearing 1,000 Points Mike Tisdale is the 43rd player in Illinois history to score 1,000 career points. Tisdale reached that milestone against Gonzaga on Dec. 4 when he made his third 3-pointer with 15:14 left in the game.

Tisdale (1,023 pts) joins Demetri McCamey (1,394 pts) as current Illini in the 1,000-point club. Next to join that group is fellow senior Mike Davis, who needs 25 points for 1,000. At his current season scoring average, Davis should reach the milestone by Dec. 29 at Iowa.
