Champaign, Ill. - There is a unique opportunity to brighten the holiday for our University of Illinois international students.

There are approximately 5,500 international students on campus during the academic year, with more than half of those students estimated to be on campus over the Thanksgiving holiday.

You can help give them a holiday to remember by purchasing blocks of tickets to Tuesday's Savannah State game that will, in turn, be donated to these students. We are allowing you to make a donation of $11 for every international student you wish to sponsor, as that is the University of Illinois student ticket rate for men's basketball games. We hope you will consider sponsoring multiple students to make their holiday memorable.

Opportunities remain for more than 1,000 international students to enjoy the game through this offer. The athletic department will get the tickets in students' hands on Tuesday. We will let you know when the offer is discontinued due to sellout.

In addition to this special offer, tickets are still available to the general public at the normal $21 rate as well.

Please call the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-866-ILLINI-1 and ask for Brian Amentt to buy a block of tickets for U of I international students at $11 or to buy $21 tickets for other purposes. There is not a mechanism that allows for ticket donations online, so the tickets must be donated by phone or by purchasing them at Assembly Hall.

We appreciate our fans and look forward to seeing you for what we hope will be a 33rd straight sellout on Tuesday at Assembly Hall!
