Illini basketball season tickets have sold out for the third consecutive season.

Champaign, Ill. - For the third consecutive season, the University of Illinois men's basketball season tickets have been sold out for the entire season. There was a 99.5 percent renewal rate for Illini season tickets. The wait list for men's basketball season tickets has grown to more than 3,500 people requesting over 10,000 tickets.
"It is great that our fans are excited enough about our program to sell out the Assembly Hall in season tickets for the third straight season," Illinois coach Bruce Weber said. "We appreciate everyone's support of the Illini basketball program. Now, to keep the Assembly Hall as the best home court in America, we need all the seats filled for every game."
Single-game tickets for games not part of the student season ticket package will be available to the general public beginning Oct. 31. Those games include Nov. 19 vs. Florida A&M, Nov. 21 vs. Savannah State, Dec. 17 vs. Belmont and Dec. 21 vs. Idaho State. Tickets for two Big Ten games over the semester break (Jan. 6 vs. Ohio State and Jan. 10 vs. Iowa) were sold out to UI students and I FUND members during season ticket renewals.
Tickets for the Dec. 9 Illinois - Illiinois-Chicago match-up at the United Center in Chicago will be available beginning at Noon, Tuesday, Oct. 24, through Ticketmaster (312-559-1212). Tickets for the game on Dec. 9 cost $25/$35/$45 each.
Tickets for the Chicago Invitational Challenge at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill., are on sale through the Illinois ticket office until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25. After that, Illini fans can purchase tickets for the event through the Sears Centre Box Office, select AMCORE Bank outlets, by phone at 1-888-SEARS TIX, and online at the Sears Centre website. Ticket prices are $100 for floor seats, $90 for club level, $80 for lower bowl and $60 for upper bowl.
