The conference office has announced starting times and television information for Illinois' remaining non-conference games. Two more Illini games have been added to the ESPN schedule, vs. Arizona on Dec. 8 (11 a.m. CT) and vs. Missouri on Dec. 22 (7:30 p.m.). Meanwhile, seven more games will be shown on the Big Ten Network, bringing Illinois' total number of games on the BTN to at least 17 during the 2007-08 season. Depending on wild-card selections during conference play, that number could climb as high as 20.

Both of Illinois' exhibition games will be televised by the Big Ten Network, vs. Quincy on Oct. 31 (8 p.m.) and Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 6 (8 p.m.). All five home games during the month of December will also be shown on BTN; Weber State on Dec. 1 (4 p.m.), Western Carolina on Dec. 17 (7 p.m.), Miami-OH on Dec. 20 (6 p.m.), Loyola-MD on Dec. 28 (8 p.m.) and Tennessee State on Dec. 30 (3 p.m.). The UI's season opener vs. Northeastern on Nov. 11 (1 p.m.), meanwhile, will air on ESPN360.

In addition to the minimum of 17 games on the Big Ten Network, Illinois will appear at least eight times on ESPN/ESPN2 and at least once on CBS.

"We have been one of the nation's most televised teams in recent years and that trend will continue this season," Illinois Head Coach Bruce Weber said. "In addition to our outstanding relationships with CBS and ESPN, the unveiling of the Big Ten Network will be a tremendous benefit to our program. With the channel being available throughout the country, Illinois basketball will continue to enjoy increased national exposure. It will be popular with players, recruits and their families, as well as our fans. Over half of our games this season will be televised on the Big Ten Network, making it a must-have channel for Illini Nation."

The 2007-08 season officially begins on Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. with Illini Madness at the Assembly Hall. The annual Orange & Blue Scrimmage, meanwhile, has been scheduled for Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. Please note that the dates of both Illini exhibition games (vs. Quincy on Oct. 31 and vs. Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 6) have changed since the original schedule announcement. All times listed are Central.
