Illini-Georgia Tech set for Dec. 3 at 6:15 pm on ESPN2

Champaign, Ill. - ESPN announced today the network and start time designations for the 15th annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge presented by DICK's Sporting Goods. Illinois will travel to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6:15 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Illinois and Georgia Tech will meet for the ninth time overall, as well as the second straight year in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge after the Fighting Illini defeated the Yellow Jackets last season in Champaign by the score of 75-62. Illinois holds a 7-1 advantage in the all-time series, including five straight wins.
Illinois owns an all-time record of 7-7 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, with its seven Challenge wins the most by any Big Ten team. The Illini also carry a four-game winning streak in the Challenge, tied with Purdue for the longest active streak by a team from either conference. The Big Ten won the Challenge for three straight years from 2009-11 and retained the Commissioner's Cup last season after a 6-6 tie with ACC.
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will again combine to televise all 12 games of the two-day event matching top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioners Cup. Every game also will be available through WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members and on Apple TV to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
