Itinerary Finalized for Illini Basketball Tour of Italy

Champaign, Ill. - The itinerary has been finalized for Illinois basketball's trip to Italy. The Illini depart Chicago's O'Hare airport on Wednesday afternoon and after a layover in Germany will arrive in Italy on Thursday. Illinois will stay three nights in Rome and two nights each in Florence, Venice and Como before returning to Chicago on Saturday, Aug. 20. While in Italy the Illini will play four games, facing the New Zealand National Team and three Italian teams. In addition, Illinois will scrimmage West Virginia University and select military personnel at the Aviano Air Base.
