Illini gridiron greats Jim Grabowski and Kurt Kittner will join University of Illinois Director of Athletics Ron Guenther, men's basketball coach Bruce Weber and football coach Ron Zook at the 2010 Johnny `Red' Kerr Illini Invitational set for Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Merit Club in Libertyville, Ill.
Also scheduled to appear at this year's event are Dave Revsine, Studio Host for the Big Ten Network, and Illinois alum Ryan Baker, Sports Anchor for CBS2 Chicago.
Individual entries and hole sponsorships for the event are still available for $900, which includes an exclusive Illini merchandise package designed for and available only to event participants and sponsors. Registration begins at 10 a.m. the day of the event, with lunch at 11:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start for golf at 12:30 p.m. The day will conclude with a reception and remarks from Guenther, Weber and Zook at 5:30 p.m.

Kittner was a four-year letter winner for the Illini from 1998-2001, culminating with a senior season in which he lead the Illini to an outright Big Ten title, a 10-win season, and a BCS appearance in the Sugar Bowl. Kittner's senior season also ended with his third team MVP, second All-Big Ten honors and a 12th place finish in the Heisman Trophy voting. Kittner was selected in the fifth-round by the Atlanta Falcons, and also played for the Chicago Bears in the NFL. Kittner currently serves as color analyst for Illini football radio broadcasts, a role he began prior to the 2007 season.
