Champaign, Ill. - Fighting Illini guard Aaron Cosby will travel to the Far East, May 10-25, in a cultural exchange basketball trip with Sports Reach. The Reach USA team will by play eight games against area teams during the two-week tour.

Cosby sat out this past season for the Fighting Illini after transferring from Seton Hall. He has two years of eligibility remaining and will return to the court for the upcoming 2014-15 season. Cosby was a starter who averaged 9.8 points over his two seasons at Seton Hall, including 12.6 points per game as a sophomore in 2012-13. He is a career 39 percent three-pointer shooter who made 132 treys for the Pirates.

Serving as head coach for Reach USA is Tom Schuberth, an assistant coach at Jacksonville State. Playing alongside Cosby are Dominique Hawkins (Kentucky), Clark Lammert (Texas Tech), Brandon Parrish and Karviar Shepherd (TCU), Cameron Payne (Murray State), Darion Rackley (Jacksonville State), Calvin Godfrey (Southern), Jordan Myers (Campbellsville) and Tyrell Ware (Virginia Intermont).
