Meet Coach Weber this Saturday in St. Louis

St. Louis area Illini fans can meet Coach Weber this Saturday. He will attend a free reception at J Buck's at 12:30 p.m., prior to throwing out the first pitch at the Cubs-Cardinals game.

Champaign, Ill. - Fans in the St. Louis area will have a chance to meet Illinois basketball coach Bruce Weber on Saturday, May 3 prior to the Cardinals vs. Cubs baseball game. Weber will be attending a reception hosted by the St. Louis Illini Club at J Buck's in downtown St. Louis, 1000 Clark Street, just two blocks west of Busch Stadium. The informal event will begin at 12:30 pm. There is no preregistration or admission fee. All fans are welcome, whether or not they are members of the St. Louis Illini Club. Weber will also be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch at Busch Stadium prior to the 2:45 p.m. start of the baseball game. Illinois fans will also be able to pick up official 2008 Fighting Illini football schedule cards and posters at the event.
