The field is set for the 2007 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament, which will be held March 8-11 at the United Center in Chicago.

Illinois finished the regular season 21-10 overall and tied for fourth place in the conference at 9-7. The Illini received the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will open play vs. No. 11 seed Penn State on Thursday at approximately 4:05 p.m. CT. That game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
