Mike Davis is 10 rebounds away from moving into third place on the Illinois career rebounding list, and 17 boards away from moving into second. Davis currently ranks fourth in school history with 836 rebounds.
Mike Tisdale is 14 blocks away from tying the Illinois school record for career blocked shots. Tisdale currently ranks third in school history with 163 blocks.

Last Time Out: Purdue 81, Illinois 70 - Feb. 13
Illinois played well in the first half but could not continue the effort for a full 40 minutes, falling to No. 14/12 Purdue Sunday afternoon at the Assembly Hall. The Illini led by five at intermission after holding the Boilermakers to just 27 points on 28.6 percent shooting. But Purdue roared back in the second half, scoring 54 points on 53.1 percent shooting and outrebounding the Illini by 17 after the break. The Illini trailed 45-44 midway through the second half when Purdue went on a critical 12-2 run to open up an 11-point advantage at 57-46 with 9:30 remaining. The Illini cut the deficit to six three times after that point, but could get no closer.

Brandon Paul was one of three Illini in double figures, scoring a career-high 23 points to lead the way. Mike Davis added 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting and D.J. Richardson finished with 13.

Looking Back at Last Year's Michigan Game
• Illinois 51, Michigan 44 // Feb. 23, 2010 // Ann Arbor, Mich.

Illinois recorded 10th and final conference win last season with a victory at Michigan. The Illini were happy to leave Ann Arbor with the win after scoring a season-low 51 points and committing 17 turnovers. Michigan managed only 24.6 percent accuracy on its home floor, hitting 16-of-65 from the field. The Illini defensive effort was focused on UM's duo of DeShawn Sims and Manny Harris. Those two, who entered the game with a combined scoring average of 36.0 points, combined for just 22 points on 8-of-29 shooting. Illinois also got the job done on the boards, outrebounding the Wolverines by 15.

Demetri McCamey led the Illini with 14 points and a career-high nine rebounds. Mike Davis registered a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards, while Mike Tisdale added nine points and 11 boards.
