Looking Back at Last Year's Game in Madison
Illinois recorded its fifth consecutive win, and second straight over a top-15 opponent, defeating No. 11 Wisconsin 63-56 on Feb. 9 to become the first unranked Big Ten team to win at the Kohl Center in UW Coach Bo Ryan's tenure.

Demetri McCamey scored a game-high 27 points while also dishing out seven assists. Mike Tisdale was the beneficiary of many of McCamey's passes and he converted, hitting 8-of-11 shots en route to 19 points. D.J. Richardson, meanwhile, scored all nine of his points in the second half.

The Illini shot 53.3 percent, topping 50 percent for the fourth time in six games. The Badgers, meanwhile, shot 35.7 percent and made just two field goals in the final nine minutes. Illinois also outrebounded Wisconsin 35-27, led by Mike Davis and Bill Cole, who grabbed eight boards apiece.

Illinois' strong performance resulted in Wisconsin's sixth conference home loss under Ryan. Three of those six defeats have been to Bruce Weber's Illini (2005, 2006, 2010).
