Chicago Suburban Baseball League All-College Team

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - University of Illinois sophomores Josh Ferry and Will Krug were named to the Chicago Suburban Baseball League's All-College team, the league announced Thursday. Ferry went 3-0 with a 2.25 ERA for the Lombard Orioles over the summer, while Krug hit .375 and stole 55 bases for the Crystal Lake Cardinals.

Ferry recorded a decision in five of seven appearances for the Orioles, going 3-0 with two saves. He posted an impressive 1.12 WHIP (walks plus hits per innings pitched), giving up only 18 hits and nine walks in 24 innings while striking out 16.

Krug had a stellar summer, leading the Cardinals with 69 hits and finishing second on the squad with 45 runs and third with 14 doubles. He also drove in 29 runs and stole 55 bases in 59 attempts. He also made only two errors in the field in 110 chances for a .982 fielding percentage.
