CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - Illinois infielder Josh Parr (Chillicothe, Ill.) was named to the Prospect League West Division All-Star team for the league's All-Star game, which will be played July 15 at 7 p.m. CT at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Ill. Parr is hitting .270 with a .360 on-base percentage over 21 games for the Springfield Sliders.

Parr, the starting second baseman for the West Division All-Stars, is tied for the Sliders' team lead with eight stolen bases and is second on the squad with 12 runs. He has driven in eight runs and has two doubles and a triple.
