    Baseball Game Cancelled on Tuesday

    Illini next in action Wednesday against SIU

    Champaign, Ill. - Illinois' baseball game originally scheduled for Tuesday against Eastern Illinois University has been cancelled due to conflicts with EIU finals. The game will not be made up.

    Illinois returns to action Wednesday, May 2 against Southern Illinois University at Illinois Field. Illinois and SIU will complete an earlier suspended game at 6 p.m. before playing the regularly scheduled game immediately after its completion. The suspended game was started March 28 in Carbondale and was halted due to darkness with the score tied 6-6 after eight innings.
