    LANSING, Mich. - Illinois' Big Ten-opening series at Michigan State has been postponed because of snow in the Lansing area. The four-game set, scheduled for Oldsmobile Park, the home of the Class A Lansing Lugnuts, will become a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.

    Saturday will include a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning contest starting at noon (CT). The format will switch on Sunday with a seven-inning affair followed by a nine-inning game and that start time is TBA.
