CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois center fielder Kyle Hudson and shortstop Brandon Wikoff were named to the QTI Baylor Classic All-Tournament team Monday, as voted on by head coaches and media relations personnel from each team. It is the first honor for each player during the 2008 season.
Hudson led the Illini with a .417 batting average over the weekend, going 5-for-12 with three RBI and two runs while playing a flawless centerfield. Wikoff also was selected to the all-tournament team after hitting 3-for-9 (.333) with a double, a hit-by-pitch and three RBI. He also was flawless in the field over the weekend.
