2007 Sophomore: Made 13 appearances and 11 starts on the season ... Tossed two complete games and combined on a shutout of Eastern Illinois ... Earned his first win of the season against Sam Houston State, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings to be named to the Al Ogletree Classic All-Tournament team ... Tossed six solid innings of relief against Dartmouth on 3/23 to get the win ... Threw a career-high seven innings in the second game of the Purdue series, notching a win ... Pitched four nearly perfect innings against EIU, allowing just one hit with two strikeouts to combine with Ben Reeser on a shutout of the Panthers ... Tossed a complete game at Michigan, giving up three runs on six hits with six strikeouts in seven innings to get the win ... Followed up that outing with six strong innings against Indiana, allowing two runs on five hits with two strikeouts in six innings ... Threw seven strong innings against Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament, giving up three runs - two earned - on three hits and a walk with six strikeouts, but took the hard-luck loss ... Played for the Waterloo Bucks in the Northwoods League along with Illini teammate Mike Giller ... Named a midseason all-star in the NWL.

2006 Redshirt Freshman: Made 10 appearances and seven starts on the season, compiling a 2-2 record ... Earned his first collegiate win with his best outing of the season, throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings against UIC on Spring Trip, giving up five hits and two walks while striking out one ... Notched a career-high five strikeouts in a three-inning start against Western Carolina (2/26) ... Tossed five scoreless innings in the series finale at South Florida (3/5), giving up four hits and striking out two, but got a no-decision ... Earned his second win at Illinois State, giving up three runs - one earned - on five hits and a walk in six innings while striking out two ... Started the series finale against Purdue (4/2) and recorded the loss after walking four and giving up two hits en route to four runs, three earned ... Played for the Waterloo Bucks of the Northwoods League in the summer with Illini teammate Ryan Hastings ... Compiled a 2.40 ERA in 71 1/3 innings over 12 starts for Waterloo, limiting opponents to a .224 batting average.

2005 Freshman: Redshirted the 2005 season ... Played for the Torrington Twisters of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in the summer.

Earned seven varsity letters at Warren Township, three in baseball, three in golf and one in basketball ... Named to the All-Area baseball team in 2003 and 2004 ...
