    2003 - Appeared in 24 games and started eight, all at second base • Won the starting second base job the last two weeks of the season • Started seven of Illinois' last eight games • Earned that starting role after hitting .250 (2-for-8) over a four-game series at Penn State • Hit .235 in the Big Ten and 233 overall • Returned to Decatur over the summer, playing for the CICL's Decatur Blues, earning League Player of the Week honors once over the summer.

    2002 - Started 24 games, the most of anyone on the team, at second base • Team was 16-8 when Raymond started at second • Collected a bunt single in the second inning versus Illinois College to drive in the first run of the game which would prove to be the game-winning RBI • Scored the game-winning run in game one at Minnesota • Scored game-winning run against Illinois State in an extra-inning thriller • Went 2-for-5 with an RBI at Indiana State • Had two hits, scored a run, and drove another in the second game against Western Michigan • Played for the CICL champion Decatur Blues over the summer.

    2001 - Redshirt freshman started 13 games and appeared in 25 at second base and designated hitter • Picked up first career hit (single) in season-opening series at Troy State • Went 2-for-4 with one run scored vs. Notre Dame at Fresno State Classic • Collected career highs in hits and RBI in going 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in game four against Purdue • Was 5-for-7 in two games against the Boilers during the regular season • Went 2-for-5 with two runs scored against Western Illinois.

    2000 - Redshirt season • Hit .270 with 12 RBI in 111 at bats for the Rome (NY) Indians over the summer.

    High School - Earned three letters in both football and baseball and two in basketball • Earned all-conference honors in baseball with a .430 batting average, three home runs and 28 stolen bases • Member of the DuPage Valley conference all-star team • Earned team MVP honors in both baseball and football • Had the highest batting average on his team and led team in 15 categories • Both a Daily Herald and Pioneer Press Athlete of the Week • An honorable mention all-conference performer in football • Member of the National Honor Society.
