2008 - Redshirt-Freshman: Played his first full season of collegiate ball ... Key member of the midweek rotation and finished the season with a 4-3 record and a 5.17 ERA in 16 appearances, including 11 starts ... Logged 55 2/3 innings and allowed 75 hits and 48 runs (32 earned) ... Issued 25 walks and struck out 38 while allowing just three home runs to 271 batters faced ... Over the final two months of the season went 4-0 with a 3.58 ERA in his final 10 appearances (five starts) ...
