Made 10 appearances on the year, including first career start against Mississippi State • Enjoyed scoreless relief appearances against Mississippi State, Winthrop, Ohio State, Michigan, Illinois College, Indiana and MacMurray.

2003 Redshirt Sophomore: Led the Illini with a 1.59 ERA with one win against zero losses • First career win came against MacMurray • Worked two scoreless innings of relief against MacMurray for the win, striking out one without allowing a hit or a walk • Appeared in eight games, throwing 11 1/3 innings giving up six hits and two runs while striking out two • Posted an opponent's batting average against of only .136.

2002 Redshirt Freshman: Did not compete.

2001 Freshman: Redshirt season.
