    2013 - Redshirt-Junior: Played in 13 games as a back-up catcher and finished the year 3-for-8 (.375) at the plate with two RBI and a run scored ... Executed a suicide squeeze bunt with the bases loaded to defeat Nebraska (3/23), 8-7, in the first game of the doubleheader for Illinois' first Big Ten win of the year ... Had an RBI and a run in game one of the doubleheader vs. Oakland (3/30) ... Notched his first hit of the year vs. Houston Baptist (3/1) ... Caught the ninth inning of the season-opening victory at Tennessee Tech (2/15) ... Walked as a pinch-hitter at East Carolina (2/21) ... Illinois' Big Ten sportsmanship honoree ... Academic All-Big Ten.

    2012 - Redshirt-Sophomore: Played in 29 games, starting seven at catcher ... Hit .286, going 10-for-35, with four RBIs and two runs ... Started three of four games on spring trip, when Kelly Norris-Jones suffered a concussion, and went 6-for-13 (.462) with two RBIs and a run in those three starts ... Started the series finale at Penn State and all three games of the Minnesota series ... Hit .391 in the seven games he started and was 1-of-12 (.083) off the bench ...
