    2002 – Threw 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief at Bradley . . . Allowed three runs on four hits in three innings of work in a relief appearance against Michigan . . . Started game three against Purdue, winning his first Big Ten game after pitching five innings while giving up one earned run and striking out three . . . Pitched 6 1/3 innings while striking out four in his first Big Ten start in game four against Indiana . . . Illinois’ closer before assuming a starting role at the beginning of Big Ten play, had two saves in early non-conference action . . . Threw 2 1/3 innings of shutout ball to pick up an extra innings win against Massachusetts on the Spring Trip . . . Pitched an inning of shutout relief to pick up a save and secure Illinois’ 5-4 win against Wright State . . . Got the final out to pick up a save in relief of Andy Dickinson at Louisville . . .
