AT ILLINOIS
2004 Junior: Appeared in 25 games and started nine, all at the designated hitter slot • Collected multi-hit games against Texas State, Winthrop and Indiana State • Picked up first extra base hit with a double against MacMurray • Played for the Springfield Rifles of the CICL during the summer.
Prior to Illinois
Played 2002 and '03 seasons at Lincoln Land Community College as a second baseman • Hit .387 with 23 doubles and 12 home runs • Earned first team Collegiate Conference of Central Illinois honors, as well as first team Region XXIV All Region Team honors • Played for the Springfield Rifles of the CICL during the 2002 and '03 summers.
High School
Earned seven varsity letters at Springfield Southeast: four in baseball and three in soccer • Set the school record for doubles with 20 and hit a conference-leading .478 as a junior • Was an All-Conference selection in 1999, '00 and '01 in the Central State Eight conference • Participated in the Illinois Baseball Coaches Association State All-Star game in 2001.
