    AT ILLINOIS

    2011 - Sophomore: Started 55 of 57 games, 52 in right field and three in left field ... Finished third on the team with a .311 batting average ... Notched 27 RBIs, 27 runs scored, five doubles, three triples, two home runs and nine stolen bases ... Had a team-best .392 average with runners on base ... Also hit .361 with runners in scoring position and .343 with two outs ... Posted a .982 fielding percentage, making only two errors on the season ... Hit a team-high .417 (5-for-12) with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs at the NCAA Fullerton Regional, earning a spot on the All-Regional Team ... Had three game-winning hits late in games, driving in the winning run in Illinois' Big Ten Tournament opener against Ohio State in the bottom of the ninth (5/26), knocking a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth against Indiana (5/20) and recording an eighth-inning RBI single against Iowa (4/8) ... Went 4-for-8 in two games at the Big Ten/Big East Challenge to start the season ... Hit 5-for-10 during the Western Kentucky series ... Named to the 2009 Class 1A/2A All-State team by the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches' Association ... Named a first-team All-Area outfielder by the Peoria Journal Star in 2008 and 2009, and by the Macomb Journal in 2006-09 ... A first-team All-Olympic Conference selection in 2007-09 ... Hit .432 with 32 runs, 22 RBIs, seven doubles, five triples, two home runs and 35 stolen bases in 2009 ... Also was 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched in 2009 ... Hit .468 with five home runs, 12 doubles, 39 RBIs and 19 steals with a .571 on-base percentage in 2008 ... Earned 10 varsity letters - four in baseball and three in both football and basketball.
