    2002 – Allowed only one run on three hits in a seven inning complete game win over Penn State . . . Struck out four in 4 2/3 innings to start out the second game of the doubleheader at Michigan State . . . Picked up a win while pitching four shutout innings to secure an Illinois victory in the series finale against Northwestern . . . Picked up his first victory of the season in game four against Michigan after throwing five innings, allowing two earned runs while striking out three to give Illinois a chance to stage a dramatic eighth inning comeback . . . Pitched a shutout inning of relief against Dartmouth on the Spring Trip . . . Started his first game of the year against Kent State at Louisville.

    2001 - Came on near the end of the season to crack Illinois’ conference rotation, filling the third slot in the rotation over the final month of the season . . . Opponents hit just .236 against him with runners on base . . . First Big Ten start came at Michigan where he threw a complete game four-hitter to win a game, 3-2, despite being hit in the leg by a line drive in the first inning . . . Earned a save for Illini ace Andy Dickinson on Friday vs. Indiana, getting Dickinson out of a ninth-inning jam to preserve a 6-5 win . . . Posted a 5.24 ERA in 13 appearances and three starts . . . Suffered the loss in Illinois’ season-ending 10-0 loss to Ohio State at the Big Ten Tournament: allowed six earned runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings in first career postseason appearance . . . Made Illini debut at Troy State in second game of season . . . Made first collegiate start vs. Indiana State, allowing four runs on five hits in 3 1/3 innings of work.

    2000 - Redshirt season . . . Named an Eastern All-Star in the CICL after posting a 4-4 record with a 3.19 ERA for the Decatur Blues over the summer . . . Threw three complete games in nine starts and gave up only 22 earned runs in 62 innings of work . . . Struck out 54 and walked only 19 for the Blues.

    High School - Earned two varsity letters in baseball . . . Posted an 11-1 record with four saves as a senior . . . Struck out 104 in 79 innings as a senior and posted a 1.33 ERA . . .
