2012 - Freshman:
Made 11 appearances on the season, including six starts, which was tied for third-most on the team ... Went 3-1 with a 7.09 ERA, 40 hits, 20 walks and 22 strikeouts in 39 1/3 innings pitched ... Held opponents to a .265 batting average ... Limited opponents to a .122 average with two outs ... Induced six ground ball double plays, third-most on the team ... Was 3-0 with a 3.16 ERA in 31 1/3 innings over seven non-conference appearances ... Struck out a career-high six in a career-best seven-inning start at Eastern Illinois on April 18 ... Started and struck out five in five innings, earning the win, against Mississippi Valley State on March 31 ... Earned his first career win with 6 1/3 solid innings in his first career start against Southern Illinois on March 18 ... Held No. 22 Oregon State to one earned run in 5 1/3 innings of relief on March 10 ... Played for the Lombard Orioles of the Chicago Suburban Baseball League over the summer and was named to the CSBL All-College team as one of the top college players in the league.
