University of Illinois Athlete of the Year finalist ... Dickinson finished the year ranked among Illinois' single-season top 10 in wins (11, 5th), innings pitched (115.1, 3rd), strikeouts (99, 3rd) and winning percentage (.917, 6th) ... Needs just one more career victory to rank among Illinois' career wins leaders and 11 wins to tie Mark Dressen's all-time mark of 30 ... Already ranks among UI career top 10 in winning percentage (.792, 8th) ... Led the Big Ten in wins (11), strikeouts (99), games started (15) and innings pitched (115.1) ... Threw his first complete game in his first collegiate start April 12 against Indiana State University ... Struck out a career-high eight batters against Indiana State ... Picked up his first Big Ten victory of the season at Michigan State after pitching seven innings and striking out two in his first Big Ten start ... Recorded final two outs to get Illinois out of bases-loaded jam in game four, 7-1 win at Michigan ... Played for the Waterloo Bucks of the Northwoods League ... Posted a 4-0 record with 3.26 ERA and two saves in 58 innings of work for the Bucks.

    High School - Earned six varsity letters at Freeport: one in basketball, two in golf and three in baseball ... Co-conference baseball MVP as a senior along with fellow Illini Matt Vorwald ...
