2006 Redshirt Junior: Made his first three career appearances, logging two innings Pitched a near-perfect ninth inning against Western Michigan on 4/5, allowing just one walk Pitched a perfect inning vs. Missouri on 5/17 Also saw action at Bradley on 4/11, giving up a run on a hit and two walks while not recording an out.

Earned four varsity letters at Joliet West; three in baseball and one in soccer Was a SICA West all-star selection as a junior Missed playing baseball his senior year due to a stress fracture in his back.

Born Aug. 29, 1984 Parents are Greg and Lisa Chodil Enrolled in the College of Engineering In high school, was a National Honor Society award winner, a member of National Honor Society as well as the Spanish National Honor Society Lists his biggest sports thrill as "striking out a hitter with the bases loaded with two outs" Lists Mark Prior as his favorite athlete because "he is so calm and fluent on the mound" His earliest baseball memory is his dad pitching to him on the pinto baseball field Lists his parents as the people who have the most influence on his athletic career because "they always wanted me involved in sports and were always there to support my baseball career."
