2007 Freshman: Played in 56 games, starting 54, all at third base ... Saw most of his at bats in the No. 2 hole, getting 187 of his 217 ABs in that spot ... Opened his Illini career by going 5-for-9 with two RBI and two runs at Louisiana-Lafayette ... Went 6-for-14 (.429) two RBI and a run at the Al Ogletree Classic, being named to the all-tournament team ... Put together an eight-game hitting streak from 3/2-19 ... Went 3-for-6 with two runs and an RBI against Yale ... Went 4-for-9 with three RBI and three runs in the doubleheader against No. 25 Ohio State ... Was 3-for-5 with a run against Bradley ...
