    Illini Rebounders // illinirebounders.com

Illini Rebounders is the official support group for University of Illinois Basketball. In addition to providing fun events for the fans and their families, the Rebounders play an integral role in supporting the basketball program. With more than 29 years of support, we have helped to provide computers, paid for trips abroad, purchased special training equipment, and provided many important items that are not covered under the athletic department budget.

    Illini Pride // illinipride.com

The Orange Krush is one of the most famous student sections in all of college sports! With unique cheers and incredible energy, Krush has made Assembly Hall one of the most intimidating places to play in the country, and year after year Krush provides Bruce Weber's Fighting Illini a tremendous home court advantage.

    Coaches vs. Cancer // coachesvscancerillinois.com

coachesvscancerillinois.com has been created to help fans learn more about the American Cancer Society and its Coaches vs Cancer Awareness Program. There are many ways to help raise money to fight this disease and I urge you to explore this website and find a way to get involved.

    Student-Athlete Events

    Hometown Heroes Program

Hometown Heroes is a community outreach program that provides our student-athletes with opportunities to interact with youth from Champaign County while spreading a anti-drug, anti-gang and pro-Illini message. This program enables our student-athletes to develop their speaking skills while impacting the lives of others as they serve as role models for the youth of our community.

    Red Ribbon Campaign // prarie-center.com

Each October, K-12 students participate in the national "Red Ribbon Campaign", which is locally sponsored by Prairie Center. Students compete for prizes by creating original art that expresses a pro-healthy choice/anti drug message. The Illini mens and womens head basketball coaches serve as Honorary Campaign Chairpersons, often bringing team members to meet with the 200 participating students at a recognition event. Winning senior high students receive a $500 college scholarship. The Adam Van Melle Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a junior or senior from Champaign or Ford County. Thousands of students and family members are touched each year in a positive way by our Prevention services. In Vermilion County, services have been supported by a federal Drug Free Communities Grant and are partially funded through a Danville Area United Way program grant.

    Ultimate Basketball Challenge

The Ultimate Basketball Challenge is an annual fundraising event for Coaches vs. Cancer and the University of Illinois wheelchair basketball program. It's a fun-filled night of scrimmages between the men's and women's basketball teams and the men's and women's wheelchair basketball teams. Other festivities at the UBC include shooting contests from a wheelchair, a celebrity shooting contest, raffles, and much more. Bring the whole family!
