2014 Summer

  • Helped Europe win the 2014 Palmer Cup, going 3-1 in his four matches

Sophomore - 2013-14

  • Earned his first collegiate victory with a 4-under-par 209 at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate, including two rounds under par
  • Placed fifth at The Macdonald Cup with a 204 (-6), including a career-best round of 66 (-4) in the final round
  • Tied for sixth at the Olympia Fields Country Club/Fighting Illini Invitational with a 214 (+4) in Illinois' first tournament of the fall.

Freshman - 2012-13

  • Named Big Ten Freshman of the Year
  • Second on the team with a 72.88 stroke average
  • Posted a final-round 2-under-par 68 to finish tied for 38th in the stroke-play portion of the NCAA Championships
  • His 54-hole score of 211 at the NCAA Championships was the third-best score posted by an Illini as a counting score this season
  • Defeated Texas' Julio Vegas 1-up for Illinois' first point of a 3-2 win over the defending champion Longhorns in the NCAA quarterfinal match on May 31
  • After recording only one top-10 finish during the regular season, tied for eighth at Big Ten Championships and tied for second at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional
  • Recorded a career-best 68 in the first round of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional, his first collegiate round under 70
  • Scored a 74 or better in 26 of his 34 (76.5 percent) rounds
  • Finished in the top 20 in eight of the 11 tournaments he played, including a 16th-place finish at the Augusta State Invitational and tying for 17th at the Louisiana Classics
  • Carded a season-best 213 at the Desert Shootout March 21-23 to tie for 12th
  • Had five rounds under par and a team-best seven rounds at par on the season
  • Represented his native Belgium at the World Amateur Team Championships in the fall along with Illini teammate Thomas Pieters
