Fighting Illini seniors Nick Hardy and Dylan Meyer are taking on the prestigious U.S. Amateur this week in Pacific Palisades and Los Angeles California. The event is taking place at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades and the Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles August 14-20. Participants will play one round on each of the courses to start off tournament play. 

Following the first two rounds of stroke play, the low 64 players will advance to the match play portion of the championship. Wednesday, August 16 will mark the first round of match play, which will then cut the field to 32 players. Qualifiers will play two matches on Thursday, August 17 to advance to the quarterfinal round of match play on Friday, August 18. Play will continue with the semifinal round on August 19 and the final on August 20. 

Live coverage of the U.S. Amateur will be televised by FS1 and Fox, in addition to a live stream through USGA.org.
