• Started all 12 games as a sophomore in 2016, 11 at guard and one at center
• Played in 11 games as an offensive lineman (both C and G) and on special teams (FG protection) in 2015
• Two-time Academic All-Big Ten
• Helped Illinois' Uplifting Athletes chapter raise over $30,000 for charity at the Lift for Life event
• No. 8 center in the nation coming out of high school by Rivals and Scout, but has played a majority of his Illini career at guard alongside former Illini starting center Joe Spencer
