The Rimington Award
The Rimington Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding center in NCAAÂ football. The winner is selected by determining the consensus All-American center pick from the Walter Camp Foundation, Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America all-America teams.

The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team is one of the most prestigious off-the-field honors in college football. It honors student-athlete's dedication to volunteerism, community involvement and enriching the lives of others. These student-athletes have made significant contributions to the greater good of society, inspiring future generations of young athletes and the larger college football community.

• Played in 11 games as an offensive lineman (both C and G) and on special teams (FG protection) in 2015
• Two-time Academic All-Big Ten
• Helped Illinois' Uplifting Athletes chapter raise over $30,000 for charity at the Lift for Life event
• No. 8 center in the nation coming out of high school by Rivals and Scout, but has played a majority of his Illini career at guard alongside former Illini starting center Joe Spencer
