CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois volleyball program has announced time changes to the Saturday, September 9th matches of the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge at Huff Hall this fall.
The Illini will now face Colorado at 2:30 p.m. CT, before Stanford and Penn State face off at 5 p.m. on Saturday evening.
The annual tournament opens on Friday, September 8 with Penn State taking on Colorado at 4:30 p.m., before the Illini host the Cardinal in their home opener at 7 p.m.
Along with the competition, the Illini will be hosting a volleyball reunion weekend on Sept. 8-9, as they honor the 1992 Big Ten Championship Team and welcome back former head coaches Mike Hebert, Don Hardin and Kevin Hambly. There will be alumni events on both Friday and Saturday, with more details coming soon.
Season tickets for the 2017 season are now on sale to the general public. Season ticket packages include a ticket to all 12 home matches and start as low as $40. Fans can also purchase the Volleyball/Women's Basketball Season Ticket Combo Package for just $55. This package includes a general admission ticket to all Volleyball and Women's Basketball home games. The 2017 Volleyball Season Ticket Holder renewal period is currently underway. The renewal deadline for current season ticket holders is Friday, June 16th. Single match tickets will go on sale on August 10. For more information and to purchase season tickets click HERE.
