CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini held their 15th Training Camp practice on Saturday afternoon on the turf inside Memorial Stadium. With University of Illinois classes starting on Monday, today's practice marked the end of Training Camp and the final practice open to the public.
"We're at the end of Training Camp and we've found so much out about our football team," head coach Lovie Smith said. "We haven't game planned at all yet. These practices have been open, so we've kept it pretty generic. Now, game planning will come in a bit from here on out."
Today was the final practice open to the public. The student-athletes start classes on Monday and the season opener against Murray State is just two weeks away.
