Illini held Training Camp practice No. 10 inside Memorial Stadium on Monday
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – After a day off from the practice fields (the Illini participated in Media Day on Sunday), the Fighting Illini football team resumed Training Camp on Monday, practicing for two hours inside Memorial Stadium. With rain soaking the grass practice fields just east of the stadium – where the Illini held the first nine Training Camp sessions – practice was moved onto the Field Turf inside historic Memorial Stadium for practice No. 10.
The Illini return to practice Tuesday from 11-1 p.m. All Training Camp practices are open to the public and free to attend from Aug. 4-20, unless there is a chance practice is moved inside due to bad weather (like on Monday). Fans should stay tuned to FightingIllini.com and follow @IlliniFootball on Twitter for the latest information on the status of practice each day.
