Training Camp Practice No. 9 Recap
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini football team practiced on the turf inside Memorial Stadium for the first time during fall camp on Saturday night, the ninth practice of Training Camp. In front of hundreds of fans, the Orange and Blue held a spirited two-hour practice under the lights on a perfect night in central Illinois.
The Orange and Blue will have Sunday off from practice as the team will hold media day at Memorial Stadium. They'll return to the grass practices fields next to Memorial Stadium on Monday afternoon from 2:30-4:30 p.m. All Training Camp practices are open to the public and free to attend from Aug. 4-20.
