CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Two Fighting Illini women's golf alums will be playing in the Decatur-Forsyth Classic this weekend. Samantha Postillion and Ember Schuldt will be competing in the tournament, which is the longest-running of the LPGA Symetra Tour, and takes place Friday through Sunday at Hickory Point Golf Course in Forsyth, Illinois.

"Being from Illinois, I've played the course before," Schuldt said. "It's pretty straight-forward."

Schuldt and Postillion both graduated in 2014. This will be Schuldt's 21st event and second year on the Symetra Tour, while Postillion is in her rookie year and will be playing in her sixth event.

The Decatur-Forsyth Classic will be the closest event yet to home for Schuldt, who is excited to see some familiar faces.

"I'm looking forward to having friends and family there," Schuldt said. "It will be a hometown event, and it's fun to have a couple of Illinois girls playing in it as well."

Postillion is set for a 7:30 a.m. start, and Schuldt is scheduled for 9:31 a.m.
