  1. Illinois improved to 4-0 all-time against Rutgers, including a 3-0 mark under head coach John Groce.
  2. The Fighting Illini's 82 points were their third-most in a Big Ten game this season (110 at Rutgers, 84 vs. Purdue). Illinois is 8-1 overall when scoring 80+ points.
  3. Illinois scored on over half its possessions (37 of 73, 50.7 percent) and assisted on 63.0 percent of its made field goals (17 of 27).
