The Fighting Illini went on a 3-hour guided tour of Omaha Beach today. The team learned about the D-Day landing by U.S. troops in the Normandy Region of France on June 6, 1944. Following the tour, Mike LaTulip talked with Malcolm Hill about the Normandy tour and the impact it had on the team.
Illinois will depart Deauville tomorrow morning and travel by bus to Paris. The Illini play their third of four games on Saturday at 8 p.m. (1 p.m. Central), taking on Bretigny Select.
