Fighting Illini men's golf has been using it's offseason in a positive way, spending time giving back to the community. 

The Illini spent the afternoon of Dec. 1 at the Eastern Illinois Food Bank, participating in the "Day of Giving," an initiative designed to provide the gift of food and hope to hungry neighbors in our community. The team spent the day packing boxes of food for local food pantries, soup kitchens and other emergency feeding programs. 

Not only that, but the Orange and Blue have made a few appearances at local elementary schools, helping children with reading skills. The Illini visited Garden Hills elementary and Williams Elementary, and enjoyed spending time with all of the children.
