The playing floor at State Farm Center was officially dedicated as Lou Henson Court when Illinois hosted Notre Dame on Dec. 2, 2015, permanently honoring Fighting Illini Basketball's all-time winningest coach. 

Over 100 former Illinois players and 30 family members were on hand for the ceremony, which took place at halftime in first game of the newly-renovated arena. Henson was inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame on Nov. 20 in Kansas City.
