FLUSHING, NY. – Fighting Illini men's tennis senior Jared Hiltzik fell to (3) Dominik Koepfer in the quarterfinals of the 2015 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships Friday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York. (8) Hiltzik lost the quarterfinal match by the scores of 7-6(6), 7-5.

Early Friday morning, Hiltzik defeated David Wilczynski (Stanford) to reach the quarterfinals. After dropping a first set tiebreak, Hiltzik stormed back to take victory 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-4. It was the second straight day Hiltzik overcome a first set deficit to win in three sets. In the opening round of the tournament, Hiltzik defeated Uros Petronijevic (San Diego) 4-6, 7-6(3), 6-2.
