Fighting Illini Football is set to kick off the final home game in Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 14 against Ohio State at 11am.
GRANGE GROVE
Grange Grove will open to all Fighting Illini fans at 7am on Saturday, November 14. The new tailgating area outside of the West entrances of Memorial Stadium is free and open to the public, so no ticket is required for admittance.
Fans are encouraged to line the brick path through Grange Grove for the Illini Drumline performance and Fighting Illini Walk at 8:30am.
Programming in Grange Grove will start at 9am with music from local bands El Capitano and Johnnie Mae. Entertainment will include an inflatables area for families, face painting, and more.
PROMOTIONS
As part of Dads Weekend 2015, Fighting Illini Football will celebrate Dads Day at the Ohio State game. Fathers of Fighting Illini Football student-athletes will help form the tunnel that the team will run out of at the beginning of the game. The 'King Dad' will be crowned in the first timeout of the second quarter.
Skydivers from Team Fastrax will land on the field pregame, bringing with them a giant American flag and streamers in honor of Veterans Day, weather permitting. The Peoria Air National Guard will also fly over Memorial Stadium in a C-130 jet after the National Anthem.
Student veterans from The Chez Family Foundation Center for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education will be recognized on-field during the game.
Finally, members from the Air Force, Army, and Naval ROTC, as well as the Illini Veterans, will carry a 100-yard American flag onto the field during halftime for a special Veterans Day performance along with the Marching Illini. Fighting Illini fans interested in joining these groups in carrying the superflag onto the field can visit FIGHTINGILLINI.com/upgrades to purchase the exclusive experience.Â

University of Illinois students can purchase $10 tickets for the Ohio State game online by logging into their student account here or by visiting the ticket kiosk on Green Street near McDonald's between 10am and 3pm, Monday thru Friday of game week.
