TEAM NOTES

Illinois moved to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in the Big Ten.
Illinois snapped a five-game home winning streak.
Wisconsin leads the all-time series against Illinois, 39-36-7. The Badgers have won 10 of the last 11 meetings.
Illinois leads the series 20-17-3 in games played in Champaign.
Illinois has won three of its last six Homecoming games.
Illinois is 8-3 all-time against Wisconsin on Homecoming.
Illinois had 8.0 TFLs, including two apiece from junior DL Rob Bain and junior LEO Carroll Philllips. The Illini entered the game ranked 13th in the nation in tackles for loss per game (8.0).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

Junior LEO Carroll Phillips registered a career-high 2.0 sacks. He entered the game with one career sack (2014 vs. Youngstown State).
Senior DB Eaton Spence recorded his third interception of the season with his second-quarter pick in the end zone. He came into the game ranked 48th in the nation with 0.3 interceptions per game.
Senior WR Geronimo Allison had eight receptions for 99 yards. He entered the game as the Big Ten leader in receptions per game (6.7) and second in the conference in yards per game (100.2).
Junior DB/WR Caleb Day caught two passes for 18 yards. It was his first game with consistent action on the offensive side.
Junior QB Wes Lunt snapped a streak of 190 straight passes without an interception. It was the third-longest active streak in the nation.
Senior DB Clayton Fejedelem had a career-high 19 tackles, the most by an Illini since J Leman had 20 vs. Missouri on September 1, 2007.  Fejedelem also had his second interception in the last three games.
Senior K Taylor Zalewski made two field goals (37, 25). He has made four straight attempts.
