Football Bowl Game

Members establishing their memberships prior to November 1 of each year will be allowed to place orders for postseason bowl game tickets in early December. These dates will be established and announced as soon as the Illinois football team officially accepts an invitation to participate in a postseason bowl. Specific information regarding ticket limits (if any), ordering procedures, ticket costs, and distribution guidelines will be made available at that time at www.fightingillini.com. Please note that placing an order and receiving confirmation of the order's receipt does not guarantee tickets will be available. Participating schools generally receive between 8,000 and 20,000 tickets for postseason bowls. The location of the tickets varies depending upon the bowl, but very few tickets are generally located between the 10-yard-lines, as most bowls sell these “prime” seats in advance to game sponsors.

NCAA Basketball Tournament - Rounds I, II and III

When the University of Illinois is participating in the NCAA Tournament, information regarding the purchase of tickets will be made available via radio, television, newspaper and FightingIllini.com on the evening of Selection Sunday following the announcement of the tournament brackets. NCAA tickets are not available via mail-order because of the uncertainty of the team's site placement, the short time available (for ordering, prioritizing, and allocating tickets orders), and the limited number of tickets provided to the participating teams by the NCAA (participating schools are given a limited amount of tickets – in past seasons, an estimated 350 tickets were distributed.).

NCAA Basketball Tournament - Regionals

When the University of Illinois advances to the regionals of the NCAA tournament, members will be eligible, based upon one's club level, to place orders for the all-session tickets. Specific information regarding costs and ordering procedures will be made available via radio, television, newspaper, and at FightingIllini.com. No tickets will be mailed.

NCAA Basketball Tournament - Final Four

When the University of Illinois advances to the Final Four, members will be eligible, based upon one's club level, to place an order for the all-session tickets. Specific information regarding costs and ordering procedures will be made available via radio, television, newspaper, and at FightingIllini.com. No tickets will be mailed.

Big Ten Tournament Men's Basketball

The winner of the Big Ten's postseason single elimination tournament receives the Conference's bid to the NCAA Tournament. There are ten games played over four days, and the championship game is played on the afternoon of NCAA "Selection Sunday." The arena is divided into twelve "pieces of pie" (eleven schools and the conference office), beginning at the edge of the court, on all sides of the court, and running toward the top of the facility. Although each school receives an equal number of all-session tickets (approximately 1000), schools do not receive an equal quality of tickets. The twelve pieces of the pie are rotated/adjusted each year by one or two sections, so that over time all schools will receive tickets from every vantage point in the arena. The ticket package includes all ten games in the Tournament, irregardless of whether Illinois is playing. Tickets will be allocated based upon one's membership and priority points, and no single session tickets will be sold through the Illinois athletic ticket office.
