Annie White returned to the University of Illinois as an Academic Counselor for football in March of 2007. Prior to this, she was an Academic Counselor at the University of Cincinnati from 2005-2007 where she worked with Baseball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's Golf, Women's Basketball, and Football during those years. From 2002-2005, White served as a graduate assistant and then intern in the Academic Services Department at Illinois. White was an undergraduate and graduate student at Illinois, earning her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2001 and master's degree in Sport Management in 2004. She was also a pitcher on the inaugural Illini softball team in 1999-2000.
In her role as Academic Counselor at Illinois, White has served as Tutor Coordinator and currently provides academic support to the football team, including time management, study skills, life skills, degree attainment, monitoring eligibility, and assisting with recruiting.
White is a native of nearby Tolono, Ill. She and her husband, Kelly, and son, Henry, now reside in Urbana.
